Entry requirements for MWC Barcelona 2026

It is mandatory for all MWC26 and 4YFN26 attendees to be fully pre-registered online before arriving at the event. Your identity will need to be verified before you arrive and so we will ask you to provide information from your passport / EU National ID card and a recent photo (Spanish Residency cards / NIE / Swiss ID cards are not accepted).     

Without this check, you will be unable to access your Digital Access Pass and will not be able to enter the event.

Remember, all attendees must supply a valid mobile number for essential contact purposes. Please ensure that any contact details that you provide, including mobile phone number and email address, belong to the person who is attending the event.

Your Digital Access Pass will be available in the MWC series app from late January 2026 for some pass types. This will not only give you access at the perimeter of the event but also to gain access to internal conference sessions / programmes (subject to pass type / approvals).

The MWC series app also ensures attendees can make the most of their experience by easily organising their schedule, enjoy networking features, joining conferences and getting inspiration from some of the most influential leaders from our industry.

Make sure you stay logged in, throughout the event, and that you always have sufficient charge to access the app at any time within the venue.

Once your Digital Access Pass is available, click on the quick access button on the home page to make sure you can access this before arriving at the venue.

Once activated, your Digital Access Pass is all about making it easier to attend the venue with added convenience and security. 

NEW FOR 2026

MWC26 and 4YFN26 will have their own dedicated entrances at Fira Gran Via.

MWC26 attendees will use the MWC Entrance at the South of the venue with the closest metro / train stop being Fira Europa.  If you are attending any events in Halls 8.0 / 8.1, you can also access via the 4YFN Entrance

4YFN26 attendees will use the 4YFN Entrance at the North of the venue with the closest metro stops being Fira (L9) or Foc (L10).  There is also a coach transfer from Placa Europa to the 4YFN event.  For further information, click HERE

When you arrive at the venue, you will need to open your Digital Access Pass to show to our agents at the perimeter. Once this has been checked, you will enter the access scanning lanes. Here we will scan the QR code on your Digital Access Pass and provide you with a networking badge.

Your networking badge will only be given to you when you first access the venue. If you are returning, you will only be asked to scan the QR code on your Digital Access Pass.

The networking badge can be used inside the venue for lead retrieval purposes and access to conference and other sessions (subject to eligibility). It cannot be used for perimeter access or access to the Ministerial Programme.

If you leave your networking badge at your accommodation, we do have a small number of reprint desks at all entrances.
