Tips to safely enjoy Barcelona
Barcelona is a great place to explore, day and night. As with any big city, it’s best to take a few common-sense precautions – especially in heavily populated tourist areas.
Be discreet
When leaving the venue, remove your Networking Badge and keep it safe and don't display large amounts of cash – carry only as much as you need.
Be alert
Keep your personal belongings with you, both inside and outside the venue.
Be aware
Be vigilant in crowds, restaurants and on public transportation; watch out for people creating distractions and diversions.
Be prepared
When walking around the city, know how to get to your destination in advance so you appear confident in where you are going.
