As Senior Director for Strategic Partnerships at Semtech, Nicolas is responsible for collaborative innovation projects with key customers, industry partners and market adoption of next generation IoT technologies and services. With 12 years of service at Sierra Wireless before it was acquired by Semtech in early 2023, and before that another 10 years in the ICT industry, Nicolas has extensive knowledge of wireless IoT technologies, in particular cellular technologies. This helps him position Semtech as a global provider of field-to-cloud IoT solutions that include hardware, connectivity and cloud services. Nicolas also held various positions in technology standards associations, and is currently chairing the GSMA IoT Terminal Steering Group, holds an engineering degree in telecommunications and a master degree in innovation management.
