Session Description
Unlocking Real-World Value with Standalone Networks in Multi-Tenanted Environments
As mobile networks increasingly support multi-tenanted environments, where consumer services, enterprise applications and private network use cases; payments, security, logistics coexist on same infrastructure, operators face a fundamental challenge: delivering service differentiation, prioritisation and guarantees at scale. In these environments, 5G Standalone is no longer optional; it is the control foundation required to manage complexity, enforce service characteristics and support diverse performance requirements across multiple stakeholders.
This exclusive roundtable brings together senior leaders from operators, enterprises and technology providers to examine how Standalone networks are being applied in real-world, multi-tenanted deployments such as venues, campuses, transport ports and complex public spaces e.g. shopping malls. The discussion will explore:
- Understanding the requirements of the Multi-tenanted use cases
- Why multi-tenanted private and hybrid network environments depend on Standalone capabilities for control, isolation and policy enforcement
- How operators are delivering differentiated, prioritised and better services across consumer and enterprise use cases on the same network
- The operational and commercial challenges of managing service assurance, accountability and performance in shared environments
- Lessons from live deployments that highlight where current models succeed — and where they strain — as multi-tenant complexity increases
Designed as an interactive session, the roundtable complements the 5G Future Summit taking place on Day One at MWC Barcelona by connecting the architectural and monetisation themes of Standalone networks with the practical realities of operating and commercialising them in environments where consumer experience and enterprise performance requirements must be met simultaneously.
