The Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards returned to MWC26 Barcelona, celebrating over 30 years of recognising excellence in the mobile and digital industry

With more than 200 independent judges and 30+ awards across six categories, the GLOMOs continue to honour the very best innovations shaping our connected world — from technology breakthroughs to initiatives that deliver meaningful societal impact. 

New award categories were introduced for 2026 including Best AI-Powered Network Solution, AI-Enabled Customer Experience, FinTech & Digital Commerce Innovation, Marketing for Good, Best Device <$150, and Digital Inclusion & Usage-Gap Impact. These additions reflect the industry’s accelerating focus on AI, financial innovation, inclusion, affordability, and marketing as a force for good. 

The GLOMOs are the sector’s most prestigious accolade, judged by leading subject matter experts from across the globe. For over three decades, being shortlisted for a GLOMO Award has signified recognition as a serious innovator and a brand to watch. Winning a GLOMO Award represents the highest honour, acknowledging outstanding achievement across the entire digital landscape. 

As the industry evolves into an era defined by intelligent infrastructure, AI-driven services, and inclusive digital growth, the GLOMOs shine a spotlight on both established and emerging organisations driving this transformation.

The 4YFN Awards

The 4YFN Awards is a global startup competition aimed at finding the best digital startups around the world. It’s the highest official recognition offered exclusively to startups during MWC Barcelona. 

Five finalists, carefully selected by a remote panel of industry experts and investors, will make it to the grand finale and will be pitching on the 4YFN main stage. After the pitches, a jury of top international investors will announce the winner, who will receive an exciting award package, along with wider recognition.
