Ankur Kapoor is the Executive Vice President, Chief Network Officer at T-Mobile US, leading the company’s end-to-end network strategy and innovation agenda. With over 26 years of global experience in the wireless industry, he is responsible for driving the evolution of T-Mobile’s mobile core network, radio access network (RAN), AI and automation initiatives, device strategy, emerging technologies, and network labs.

Ankur spearheads the transformation of T-Mobile’s network through cloud-native architectures, AI-driven automation, and next-generation device integration, ensuring world-class performance, reliability, and customer experience. Under his leadership, T-Mobile is advancing the use of AI in RAN optimization and accelerating innovation through its network labs ecosystem, fostering rapid testing and deployment of new technologies.

He leads T-Mobile’s forward-looking network strategy, driving industry collaboration and research on 6G and future connectivity frameworks that will define the next decade of mobile innovation. His vision positions T-Mobile at the forefront of the global wireless landscape—pioneering breakthroughs that shape the future of how people and businesses connect.

Ankur also serves as a technology liaison with government affairs and regulatory bodies, advocating for progressive U.S. wireless policies and strengthening the nation’s leadership in advanced communications.
