Speaker Bio

Christian Lindmark, CHCIO, CPHIMS, RCDD is Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for Stanford Healthcare and the Stanford School of Medicine.  Christian has been with Stanford for 8 years and he is responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day operations of infrastructure, engineering, interfaces, end-user experience, and bio-medical engineering teams, including direct oversight and management of technology deployment in all new facilities builds and expansions, which includes the new 830,000 sq. ft. hospital expansion that opened in fall 2019.  The New Stanford Hospital won multiple IT awards, including Gartner’s Eye on Innovation award.


Christian has been in the healthcare information technology arena for over 20 years and has a proven track record of providing successful, respected, and competent operational as well as project delivery teams for healthcare organizations looking to leverage technology to transform the healthcare delivery model, increase internal efficiencies, and provide higher levels of patient care and satisfaction.  He has worked with hundreds of clients across the country and internationally to develop strategic information technology and clinical technology roadmaps, inclusive of the planning, design, budgeting, procurement, and implementation of various HIT systems.   Prior to Stanford, Christian was Sr. Director – IT for NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
