Anna Nicolau is a seasoned biomedical engineer specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration.
Prior to her current role as Chief Product Officer at Neuroelectrics, Anna served as the Chief Product Officer at IOMED Medical Solutions. During her tenure, she successfully navigated challenges, including scaling a cross-functional team from 4 to 20 members and overseeing the development of a pipeline featuring 5 products at various stages of the product lifecycle. Her primary areas of passion and expertise lie in the intersection of medical devices and projects with both economic and clinical impact.
Anna has also demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit founding a startup for the development of an innovative blood pressure medical device, and leading it as CEO. Although the project encountered challenges aligning technical capabilities with real-life market needs, this experience provided invaluable lessons.
