Speaker Bio
Dr. Avesta Hojjati is VP of Engineering and Head of R&D at DigiCert, where he manages advanced development of special Cyber Security products such as Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and heavily contributes to the M&A strategy. Before joining DigiCert, he was part of the Symantec’s Web Site Security (WSS), where he was responsible for a broad spectrum of product strategy, design, and development. Dr. Hojjati has authored over 20 journal/conference papers and is the inventor of 20 U.S. patents granted or pending.
Dr. Hojjati is a member of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR) and a board member of Rutgers University Continuing Education, Sovrin foundations, and ID4me AISBL. Hojjati holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and an M.S. & Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
