Session Description

Session 1: Securing AI: shielding AI from cyber attacks

AI can sort vast amounts of information. It can fine-tune the experiences of billions of customers. It can make decisions in real time, and is increasingly part of critical infrastructure – in telecoms, national security, healthcare and more. Cyber threats could prove calamitous, while AI itself has given rise to new attack vectors for which legacy systems are unprepared.

In this session, delegates will hear about different ways to safeguard their AI against the risk of data leakage, model tampering, data poisoning, intellectual property theft and more. We’ll discuss what works, what doesn’t, and hear tips from the experts to keep your systems safe.

Session 2: AI-driven threats: strategies for defense

The applications of AI are near limitless. It can automate tasks that are expensive, laborious or simply too risky for humans. It can spot patterns, make predictions and create work from scratch.

But AI can also be used for harm. Its civic promise is as vast as its criminal potential, and attackers are increasingly using AI to spot weaknesses in networks, products and services. The sheer pace of development has spurred a new arms race between attackers and their targets. As an ecosystem, we need to prepare for the unknown.

This session will look at the technology and techniques behind AI-powered attacks, and how to secure your estate against emerging threats. Delegates will learn about both AI-enabled approaches and more traditional defence strategies – helping you find an agile, rapid response to emerging AI-powered threats.

Please note that places are strictly limited, and successful registrations will be notified via email. Only approved attendees will be admitted into SEC CON.
