AGPhotonics is a spin-off of the University of Málaga (UMA), founded by the Photonics & RF Research Lab. AGPhotonics specializes in the design of optical devices and systems based on integrated photonics. The main product of the company focuses on the development of integrated optical transceivers for wireless optical communications. Unlike other solutions in the market based on discrete optics, the proposal of AGPhotonics is to achieve a complete system integration on a chip. This will allow better performance in terms of SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power consumption), as well as a considerable reduction in the price per transceiver.
