Since 1972, the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) has been a pioneer in Computer Engineering and Computer Science education in Spain, notably being the first in Catalonia. Established in 1998, the School represents UAB's dedication to providing cutting-edge engineering studies. It offers a range of programs including computer, telecommunications, electronics, chemical, and data engineering, alongside aeronautical management, smart city management and Artificial Intelligence. The School actively fosters technological transfer and innovation, supporting startups and advanced technology companies. It focuses on deeptech and sustainable solutions, aiming to enhance knowledge, practical engineering application, and contribute to a sustainable future.
