VETGENOMICS SL (2010) is a technology-based company founded by academics and researchers from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with broad experience in veterinary genetic diagnostics and animal genomics. Our activities focus on animal genomics and pathogen diagnostics by developing, optimizing, and validating new assays, ensuring competitiveness and the best service to the customer. Our research has been essential to pave the way for creating two spin-out companies in 2020: Can-Identification, a pioneering animal identification system to solve the problem of dog droppings, and Nano1Health, working on innovative strategies for rapidly identifying microorganisms, pathogens, and drug resistance biomarkers through metagenomic analysis.
