Innovations for the digital society are the focus of research and development work at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, HHI. In this area, Fraunhofer HHI is a world leader in the development for mobile and optical communication networks and systems.
Together with partners from research and industry, Fraunhofer HHI works in the while spectrum of digital infrastructure – from fundamental research to the development of prototypes and solutions. The institute participates in the standardization and creates new applications together with industrial partners.
At MWC 2024 we present latest research and development results in the field of Photonic Networks and Systems as well as wireless THz and optical wireless communication. Latter also called LiFi enables robust communication in EMI-loaded environments, is resistant against jamming and meets high security demands.
