The Scotland 5G Centre (S5GC) is the national body for raising awareness and accelerating the uptake of 5G and advanced communication technologies in Scotland.
Funded by the Scottish Government, the Centre works across the entire innovation landscape of the country and beyond, collaborating with academia, industry, the public sector and economic/community development agencies.
S5GC has a national suite of Innovation Hubs, underpinned by 5G test beds, both fixed and “pop-up”, offering organisations a unique opportunity to test their products, services and solutions, risk-free, in a secure environment.
The Centre provide impartial and expert advice - tailored to each Scottish business’s needs, working alongside them on their digital journey and identifying communication solutions that can help their transformation.
The centre also supports research and innovation by providing access to the hubs, where ideas can be tested in real-life settings, and breakthroughs can be shared among specific communities of interest, being then the epicentre for collaboration.
