The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is a research center that specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) using the MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe. Our goals are to research, implement, manage and transfer technology and knowledge in the area of HPC, enabling progress in Computer, Life, Earth and Engineering Sciences.The BSC is also a source of business and innovation opportunities. On the one hand, through collaboration with industry and the business fabric that by accessing the knowledge and technology of the BSC can solve complex problems, and on the other hand, generating new companies with high technological content that transform business sectors.
