Aethertek and Metanoia are pleased to announce their collaborative effort in the development of a Frequency Range 2 (FR2) reference solution in accordance with the 3GPP TS38 Release 15 Radio Unit (RU) and System Architecture (SA) standards, featuring support for Open Radio Access Network Alliance (O-RAN) O-RU Option 7.2b. This collaborative initiative offers an ideal and streamlined solution for customers seeking to embark on the development of millimeter-wave (mmWave) O-RUs for frequency bands n257, n258, and n261.
Integrating seamlessly with the Metanoia platform, Aethertek's 2T2R dual-polarization Antenna module provides robust support for horizontal and vertical scanning with a range of ±60°, and a maximum Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) output of up to 50 dBm. This innovative solution is well-suited for both semi-outdoor and outdoor applications.
