Compal’s current 5G lineup includes RXM-G1 and RXL-G1 modules based on Qualcomm’s SDX55 5G Modem-RF System, supporting M.2 and LGA form factors respectively. The modules have native support for 5G NSA and SA modes, TDD and FDD bands as well as 5G/4G spectrum sharing (including 5G Sub-6GHz and mmWave). Sub-6Ghz will support 200MHz bandwidth, 4×4 MIMO while mmWave supports 800MHz bandwidth and 2×2 MIMO. 5G peak download speed tops out at 7.5 Gbps, with peak upload speed of up to 3Gbps. Also integrated are dual-frequency GNSS, GPS and Dual-SIM support.
