The protection of the vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists, is driving the global interest in C-V2X technologies for accident prevention. One approach is to use both 5G and direct C-V2X communication work together, helping to avoid blind spots—areas outside the effective detection range of vehicle-mounted sensors and building shadows—and surpass the limits of sensors inside vehicles.
