Julian Torres Gómez is the CEO and co-founder of Ontop, a global fintech platform that helps companies hire and pay international talent quickly, compliantly, and without the usual friction of cross-border payroll.

What started as his own frustration with international payments evolved into building the infrastructure behind the modern workforce—combining compliance, payments, and financial tools for remote workers across emerging and developed markets.

Julian is a YC W21 founder and Endeavor Entrepreneur, and has raised capital from global investors including Tiger Global, Point72, H20, Magma and 17Sigma. Prior to Ontop, he co-founded Fitpal, a LATAM fitness platform backed by top regional funds.

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and now based in Miami, Julian has also written two books and is passionate about building globally-distributed teams, fintech infrastructure, and companies that scale with discipline. Outside of work, he’s a musician and a firm believer that creativity and business are deeply connected.
