Marwan Bin Shakar has an overall experience of 22 years in telecom Industry locally and on regional level with different telecom operators. Currently he is holding position of Senior Vice President of Access Network Development in Etisalat by c&.
He began his career in 2001 with Etisalat and later worked on the team that launched Mobily in Saudi Arabia before moving on to manage the whole Eastern region while developing and managing mobile networks.
He later joined EITC - du in March 2008 after one year of the company launch leading to build latest mobile, fixed and fiber infrastructure.
He joined Etisalat back in April 2022 in the company accelerating the its biggest transformation to be one of the trusted technology companies in the region which is Etisalat by e&, building, monetizing and setting strategy of latest technologies, he is leading team to position UAE and Etisalat by e& among 1st in the global ranking in mobile speed, fixed speed Fiber to Home penetration.
The wide variety of responsibilities allowed him to develop a diverse skillset and dynamic approach of management and leadership.
