Speaker Bio
Izabel Alfany is a Biologist with a PhD in Physiology from the University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in Business Innovation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Additionally, she completed the executive programme for Women in Senior Management at ESADE. Izabel has over 16 years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry. In the last decade, she has focused on innovation and international collaboration in the health sector. Before joining EIT Health Spain as Operations and Business Development Director and ad interim Managing Director, she served as the Head of the Health Division at Leitat Technological Center.
Currently, she is the Managing Director at EIT Health Spain, where she is dedicated to advancing healthcare innovation in Spain and Europe.
