Dr. Giovanna Jaramillo-Gutierrez is the Co-Founder of Milan & Associates SRL and an ex-WHO Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network senior epidemiologist. She is passionate about the development of ethical, human-centric AI-based technology for social impact. She is a certified ForHumanity EU AI Act auditor.
Giovanna received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the US National Institutes of Health and Free University of Brussels and holds an M.Sc. in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
She is an active member of European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training alumni network, allWomen.tech and the International Telecommunication Union-WHO AI4Health initiatives.
