Juan Fernando Muñoz, an IT expert, has had a distinguished career in the Spanish public administration. He has led the digital transformation in Spain’s National Health System during the COVID-19 pandemic, addressing and collaborating on digital health modernization and innovation projects.
His professional career has been characterized by leadership positions in the Ministry of Health and other government entities, where he has demonstrated exceptional skill in managing health information systems. In addition, he has played important roles in the Ministry of Defense and the Spanish Data Protection Agency. He is currently a distinguished member of the Higher Information Systems and Technology Corps of the General Administration of the State.
