Andy is a tech entrepreneur turned investor and is Founding Partner of LUMO labs.
LUMO Labs is an impact-driven multi-stage EUR 100 million VC Fund. LUMO's purpose is to improve quality of life and wellbeing of individuals, and for medium- and long-term relief of the ever-increasing strain on (public) healthcare, social welfare, and the planet.
The fund invests in Europe and has a focus on Emerging & Disruptive, and deeptech software technologies (AI, Data, Blockchain, IoT, Digital Security and VR/AR and invests in ambitious purpose-driven companies that solve problems within at least for of the following UN SDGs: Sustainable cities & Communities, Climate Action, Health & Well-being, and Quality Education.
Andy is one of the initiators and thought leaders of the the 3rd generation of internet, the spatial web, facilitating e.g. EU Horizon projects ‘Autonomous Urban Air mobility’, ‘Cityverse’ (digital transition based on digital twins), and the ‘urban circular development‘ initiative.
