Tor oversees the Risk Management and Threat Intelligence department at Telenor Global Business Security. He specializes in mitigating risks stemming from geopolitical issues, intricate partnerships, insider threats, and novel technologies. His work focuses on enhancing security risk frameworks within the telecommunications sector through analytical methods. Tor's expertise encompasses both cyber and physical security, drawing from his experiences in the finance sector and his leadership role at the Central Bank of Norway. There, he directed security operations for Norway's sovereign wealth fund, overseeing assets exceeding US$1 trillion. Additionally, Tor spearheaded the development of a pioneering security fusion center at KPMG, employing a data-centric approach to quantify and manage risk as a service. His early career began as a Rocket technician at the Andøya Space Center (ASC), coupled with studies in mathematics and science at the University of Oslo.
