Alex Pirla has nearly 20 years of extensive experience in the culinary world. From sous-chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant to instructor at the Basque Culinary Center and Hoffman School, Pirla has served as a gastronomic consultant, executive chef, entrepreneur, author ("Vegan Gourmet," Urano), and founder of Plant Based Lab, a space dedicated to expanding 100% plant-based culinary culture.
Moreover, he has been the private chef for several FC Barcelona players and currently oversees the culinary department at Heura, Spain's leading plant-based meat company.
His unique approach and vision to 100% plant-based cuisine make him a reference in the field and a staunch advocate for food that contributes to a cleaner and healthier planet for all.
