Since joining Infobip as head of telecom solutions team, Mijo has continued to expand his initial mission, closely following Infobip’s transition from a wholesale carrier partner to a digital transformation enabler.
The collaboration with Open Gateway is part of Infobip’s CPaaS enablement solution for telcos that allows them to easily launch and monetise their emerging services, such as their 5G core network capabilities being exposed through Camara APIs.
Mijo has become a crucial link between Infobip and carrier partners, engaging on a number of initiatives aimed at co-creating telco products, evangelizing CPaaS in telecommunications, partnering on anti-fraud and CX projects, and ultimately creating new value for carriers worldwide.
Mijo currently spends most of his time in the US, as a board member of Chicago-area based Peerless Network, a voice services provider acquired by Infobip in 2021.
In all of his roles, Mijo leverages his extensive experience from global network kit maker Ericsson, where in his career spanning 20 years he's risen steadily through the ranks in a number of technical and sales roles.
Mijo holds a degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Croatia.
