Jenny Jones

Speaker Bio

Jenny is responsible for the GSMA’s mPowerYouth programme, which addresses the full range of potential impacts on child rights in the digital context – from protection to participation – through knowledge sharing and advocacy. She also coordinates the GSMA Mobile Alliance to combat Digital Child Sexual Exploitation, which brings together an international group of mobile operators within the GSMA who have committed to working together and taking proactive steps to fight technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation.


On behalf of the GSMA, Jenny works closely with organisations such as UNICEF and Child Helpline International to promote collaborative approaches to protecting and promoting children’s fundamental rights to, through and in the digital environment.


Jenny holds a BA in modern languages from the University of Oxford, and a Masters in Children’s Rights from the University of Geneva.
