Carlos heads up Mobility Products for Console Connect, an affiliate of HKT, and part of the PCCW Group. Carlos’ product team is responsible for the full life cycle management of international mobility products, including IPX, Signaling, Multi Services IPX Software Defined private Connection, Voice DIDs, SMS A2P hubbing, SMS A2P fraud prevention, SMS A2P traffic monetization and SMS A2P QoS assurance.
Carlos has 20+ years of experience in international operations, engineering, sales support, business and product development, spanning in diverse technologies such as IP Transit, transmission, cloud, satellite, international Voice, Security, Roaming and A2P SMS messaging.
Carlos started his Career in France Telecom in 1999 with Orange, he later moved to the US with Orange and has been working for PCCW group since 2011 out of their Virginia location. Carlos represents Console Connect at the board of i3forum.org, which he helped create in 2008.
Carlos holds an Electrotechnics Engineering degree from the CNAM in Paris. He is fluent in 4 languages, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
