Michele Marrone

Michele Marrone achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Bari.
Senior B2B consulting experience with a deep specialization in Digital and Mobility business and a strong knowledge of Communications, Media and Technology industries.
Since 2021, Michele is Market Lead for Europe of the Cloud First Network organization which unleashes next-generation products and services for our cross-industry clients – including technologies like 5G, software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), Edge Computing and Media Cloud which are emerging as key enablers to the hyperscale revolution
From 2014 to 2021, Michele has been leading Communications, Media & Technology Business in ICEG and, since 2017, he is DCAL for Telecom Italia. He is part of the Europe Executive Committee for Communications, Media & Technology and of ICEG Executive Committee.
Previously, he was Digital lead in ICEG as well as Mobility Lead for Europe. In this role, he was responsible to build the Digital practices in the geography and to drive Mobility business across Europe with specific focus on incremental and inorganic growth, driving offering into connected cars, mobile payment and IOT space. He was also in charge of Mobility Managed Services Unit start-up within the Accenture New Business organization.
He is recognized as thought Leader in Telco & Media industries and thanks to this expertise he is often invited as spokesperson among several events all over the country.
Michele lives in Rome, Italy, where he and his wife have been raising their son and two daughters
