An entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, Bruno leads Cathay Innovation’s global commerce practice. He initially joined Cathay as an operating partner to share his 15+ years of international experience leading startups (with 2 successful exits) as well as his leadership insights after having held key managing positions in Fortune 10 companies.
Prior to Cathay, Bruno was one of the pioneers of AI in France and an early member of KXEN an American startup focused on Machine Learning. He built and led their European, Middle Eastern and African operations before moving to Silicon Valley, initiating and leading its acquisition by SAP. At SAP, he built and led the predictive sales team for SAP North America and Latin America. He then became CEO of Reach Analytics in Redwood City, which he turned into a leading self-service platform for customer acquisition, later acquired by a data-driven marketing company. More recently, he was an early member of the Retail Media section of Walmart, Walmart Connect, where he spearheaded and scaled the Analytics practice growing from hundreds of millions to billions, supporting tens of thousands of advertisers.
Bruno holds an executive MBA from HEC, a Master of Science in Economics and applied Mathematics as well as a Business degree from the Université Paris Dauphine.
