Speaker Bio
Graduated in Pharmacy from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, with a Master's in Clinical Trials from the Universidad Autonoma, a Postgraduate in Pharmacoeconomics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a Business Executive Postgraduate in IESE, I began my career in various roles at companies such as MDS Pharma Service, TFS, and Pivotal, accumulating valuable experience over the years.
Later, I spent nine years at Novartis, from Lead CRA to CRA Group Head-CRA Manager, overseeing activities in clinical trials and leading a team. Then, during eight years at GSK, I managed clinical development programs, leading a team and handling operational and financial functions in clinical trials and scientific studies.
Currently, I am at the forefront of the Clinical Operations department at Exeltis, leading and coordinating studies focused on women's health. Throughout my journey, I have learned the importance of cultivating an environment where each team member feels valued and motivated. Empathy and open communication are essential to build a collaborative atmosphere. I have always wanted to recognize and strengthen individual skills, encouraging the personal and professional growth of each team member. Guiding and supporting my team in achieving common goals is the key to creating a positive and productive work environment.
