James Kitto was appointed Vice President Head of Samsung Electronics’ mobile division UK and Ireland in 2022, and is responsible for bringing the benefits of the company’s ecosystem of products and experiences to customers both old and new.
James joined Samsung back in 2017 as Sales Director for UK & Ireland, bringing with him 15 years’ experience in sales, marketing and management consultancy before progressing to Vice President of Sales in 2020.
During this period, James built and led highly successful teams, consistently driving impactful change and achieving standout business growth and development. Under his guidance, the company successfully launched a range of innovative products across mobile, tablets and wearables, positioning Samsung as a leader in the industry.
Prior to joining Samsung, James began his career in Management Consultancy with Accenture, before joining Nokia’s senior leadership team where he played a key role in business transformation then moving on to devote his time to investing in and growing several technology start-ups.
Throughout his career, business transformation has been at the forefront of James’ priorities and he has a proven track record of assembling best-in-class teams and developing innovative strategies to deliver exceptional outcomes.
James is married with two children and is a passionate fundraiser, organising and completing physical team challenges across multiple countries to raise awareness and money for the Lily Foundation.
