Dr. Du Jun, National First-Class Construction Engineer and Professor-Level Senior Engineer, graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is currently the General Manager of Network Department (Technology Innovation Department) in China Unicom Global Limited, responsible for 5G wireless network technology innovation and planning, construction, and optimization of international network resources.
Dr. Du has been working in the ICT field for 30+ years. He has profound experience and outstanding attainments in international network planning and construction, global layout and system evolution, 5G wireless network and 5G application innovation, software engineering, FTTH, industrial internet and the IoT, computational optical networks, digital economy, and engineering cost. As Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Next Generation Internet Access System, he was awarded many prizes including first prize of science and technology of the Chinese Society of Communications and the national first prize of National "Blooming Cup" competition held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
