Speaker Bio
Kai Grunwitz, an accomplished leader with over 30 years of experience in the IT and IT consulting industry, currently serves as the CEO of NTT Germany and leads the DACH Region for NTT Ltd. His journey with NTT began in 2014, where he initially managed the Cybersecurity business in Central Europe before advancing to Senior Vice President for EMEA. In 2019, Kai assumed the role of Managing Director for NTT Ltd. Germany.
Prior to joining NTT, Kai held significant roles at Oracle, where he served as Vice President Consulting Northern Europe and was a key member of the Country Leadership Team. His extensive career also includes leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, where he headed Professional Services for Central Europe.
Before his corporate roles, Kai co-owned and developed the independent IT consulting and service firm, netIX, successfully leading its sale to Storagetek/Sun Microsystems in 2004.
Kai is passionate about engaging with customers and market leaders, dedicating time to exchange ideas on digital transformation and innovative topics to actively support their digital and innovation journeys.
Beyond his role at NTT, Kai is actively involved on the BITKOM main board and serves as a member of the board of the Economic Council Hesse. He is a sought-after keynote speaker, author, and thought leader on Digitization, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, New Work Strategies, and leadership.
Educated at the University of Mannheim with a degree in business administration ("Diplom Kaufmann"), Kai is not only a business professional but also an avid sportsman in golf and running. Outside the corporate arena, he enjoys reading thought-provoking books and delights in cooking for his family and friends.
