Simon Glassman is Senior Principal, Strategic Partnerships for Cellular in EMEA at u-blox, a global technology leader in positioning and wireless communication in automotive, industrial, and consumer markets.
Simon is responsible for managing partnerships with key players in the IoT ecosystem, including MNOs and IoT services enablers.
Simon has more than 35 years’ experience in ICT, working in strategic marketing, business and corporate development positions at companies including TomTom, Symbian, Motorola, Numerex, Unisys and EDS. He has also worked on consultancy initiatives for UK development agencies and the European Commission. Simon has authored several market reports on topics including computer telephony integration and voice processing. He is a frequent conference speaker and panellist at industry events worldwide. He also represents u-blox on the GSMA 5G IoT Strategy Group.
Simon holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
