Speaker Bio

As an expert in EdTech and future of work technology, I regularly speak at global events such as WebSummit, MWC and ASU-GSV. Through my consultancy NilesNolen I advise enterprise orgs such as Google and HSBC on their learning and skills strategy and tech ecosystem, as well as tech providers such as Udemy and Degreed.

I am also active in the investment space, mainly as a venture partner at Emerge Education (a global pre-seed EdTech fund) and a strategic adviser to 360 Ventures (an early-stage European VC investing in ClimateTech, DeepTech, Mass Consumption and Business Automation).

Perhaps what I love most is connecting the dots between these three groups: startups, investors and the companies and people who acquire this technology. In addition I am passionate about buiding tech with ethics and inclusion, which is why I cofounded a network of women investing in future of education and work technology.

Born in the US, I moved to Madrid 25 years ago and became a remote work pioneer. Today my projects take me all over the world, so good thing I love to travel! I have also become 100% fluent in Spanish, tapas and wine.
