Speaker Bio

Parth Trivedi is CEO and Co-Founder of Skylo Technologies, the world’s leading NTN direct-to-device service provider. Skylo's standards-based service allows smartphones, wearables, and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over satellite. Skylo's focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows for machines at work across critical industries such as agriculture, maritime, logistics, mining, and others, in addition to mass-market consumer devices.


An aerospace engineer by training, Parth and his co-founders conceived of Skylo while at Stanford, where he was co-leading research in the Space Systems Development Lab exploring how to connect billions of devices in a ubiquitous, cost-effective way. Parth then became an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Eric Schmidt's venture firm Innovation Endeavors, where Skylo was founded. Under his leadership, Skylo has been venture-backed by Softbank Group, Boeing HorizonX, DCM, Moore, and Innovation Endeavors.


Prior to Skylo, Parth was at MIT where enominated to serve on the U.S. delegation to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), during his time at MIT. There he led various aerospace-focused projects for the Department of Defense, Air Force Research Laboratory, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). 


Born and raised in Kolkata, Parth has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University with highest distinction, SM in Aerospace Engineering from MIT, and MBA from Stanford University.
