Sabri Ali Albreiki is the Chief Technology Officer of e& International with 28 years’ experience in telecommunications engineering and information technology.


As CTO of e& International, Sabri oversees telecom networks and information technology functions across e& international operating companies. He is accountable for e& International technology strategy and cross-functional delivery of strategic projects in fixed and mobile access networks, convergent core, cloud, IoT digital services, business support systems, cyber security, and climate action.   


Sabri started his career with Etisalat in 1995 as graduate trainee in the engineering department where he attained firsthand experience and in-depth knowledge of fixed, mobile, and intelligent networks as well as value-added services. From 2001 to 2006, Sabri held various managerial positions in network operations and planning, provisioning, mediation, and applications development.


In 2006, he was appointed CIO of Etisalat’s green-field operations in Egypt where he contributed to Etisalat becoming a major player in a highly competitive market. While in Etisalat Egypt, Sabri oversaw the implementation of state-of-the-art real time convergent charging and billing solution that was combined with advanced analytics and customer management applications to drive product innovation and improve the overall customer experience.


In 2012, he was appointed CIO of Etisalat UAE accountable for applications development, infrastructure, and operations of all IT functions in Etisalat UAE, including Customer Relationship Management, Service Fulfillment, Revenue Management, Analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning, and IT Service Management. He successfully led major IT and digital transformational initiatives that helped to improve the organization’s agility, created new revenue streams, and enhanced the overall customer experience.  


Sabri holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors in Digital Electronics and Master of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Kent, UK. He has recently completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School and the Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation and Technology from MIT.
