Mr. Zhuang Dan has been appointed as an executive director of the Company with effect from 24 January 2017. Mr. Zhuang has been the president of the Company since September 2011. He is primarily responsible for strategic development and planning, and day-to-day management of the Company. Mr. Zhuang has more than 24 years of experience in the optical fibre and cable industry. He joined the Company in March 1998. Mr. Zhuang obtained a bachelor’s degree in auditing from Wuhan University in July 1992, a master’s degree in accounting from Wuhan University in June 1995, a doctorate in accounting from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics in June 1998, and a postdoctoral certificate in business administration from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in April 2001. Currently, he is a deputy to the 13th session of the People’s Congress of Hubei Province. He has received special government allowance awarded by the State Council of the PRC.
