Speaker Bio
Miriam Cabrita is a Biomedical Engineer driven by her passion for advancing digital health innovation while decreasing the health inequality gap. With experience in academic and business contexts, Miriam’s goal is to bring practicality and accessibility to healthcare solutions. Miriam obtained her PhD degree in Personalized Digital Health (University of Twente, NL, 2017) and she is currently a Researcher and Project Manager at SHINE 2Europe (PT). She has over 10 years of experience in the European Research and Innovation world, in which she has been collaborating on multiple projects in the fields of digital health and social innovation.
Miriam is also Chief Customer Officer at Fibion Oy (FI) where she supports researchers and practitioners in finding the most suitable device-based solutions for monitoring and analyzing sleep, sedentary behaviour, and physical activity in daily life.
