Speaker Bio
Koliwe Majama is a member of the GSMA’s research advisory group on Artificial Intelligence for Development in Africa. She is a seasoned Master in public policy and governance with over 15 years’ experience working with civil society in Africa and advocating for media and internet freedom across the globe. Koliwe is invested in research, building networks and providing thought leadership on a myriad of internet and technological governance issues and trends. She currently works at the Moz://a Foundation as a Senior Program Officer in the Fellowships and awards team. In her role, Koliwe peers and supports Senior fellows working on Trustworthy AI and Tech Policy projects and leads research on the Foundations Africa Innovation Mradi Program.
