Speaker Bio

I am research fellow at RMIT Europe, the innovation hub of RMIT Univerisity (Australia) located in Barcelona. I have a PhD. in social sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and I am adjoint researcher at CONICET, Argentina. My field of study is the intersection between science, social values & beliefs and public health. In particular, I study social determinants of (digital) health, gender, diversity and inclusion, (digital) health literacy and, cutting edge issues regarding bioethics and Human Rights in Healthcare and Well-Being. I am associate professor in research methods at national universities in Argentina and, I have been visiting professor in Latin America, Europe and the US. Currently, I am RMIT Europe's lead researcher in the Horizon 2020 Project IDEAHL that aims at the improvement of digital empowerment for active healthy living of European Citizens and the co-creation of a a Digital Health Literacy Strategy for Europe.
