Nuno Goncalves Pedro (https://www.nunogoncalvespedro.com/) is the founder and managing partner of Chamaeleon, an early-stage VC firm with a unique operating model that uses quantitative modelling, artificial intelligence & technology augmentation for all its core activities. It is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with offices in Europe and with a global remit. It focuses on early-stage investments - Series Seed and Series A - and Nuno is particularly focused on consumer and horizontal AI-first SaaS.

 

Nuno previously founded and is still the managing partner of Strive Capital, the first ever quant-augmented early-stage VC firm globally, focused on consumer and enterprise software, with investments in companies such as App Annie, Gusto, Rubrik, Enish (IPO), Virta Health, DraftKings (IPO), RobinHood (IPO), among others.

 

He is the co-founder and co-host of decipheredshow.com, a top 3% podcast globally, and the creator of the “Rejection & Adversity as a path to Growth” methodology (bit.ly/3badkvb). Nuno has served as a board member, advisor and coach to various start-ups, corporations, nonprofits and individuals in the US, Europe and Asia.

 

Prior to this, Nuno was the youngest ever Senior Expert, as well as a member of the Asia-Pacific Technology, Media and Telecom leadership team at McKinsey & Co, where he served players in consumer electronics, network equipment, telecom carriers/operators, Internet, private equity and sovereign wealth funds, around the world. Nuno was previously Head of Strategy, Product, Corporate & Business Development for the GSM Association, where he was part of the team that created the blueprint that led to the GSM Association becoming the leading ecosystem player for Mobile globally.

 

Nuno is a guest lecturer on product and growth at leading educational institutions such as Stanford Graduate School of Business, Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Nuno is an alumnus of Stanford, London Business School and other world-renowned academic organizations. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
