From Principles to Practice: Building Maturity and Shared Accountability Across the Mobile Ecosystem

As AI investment accelerates and agentic AI use becomes embedded across networks, operations, and customer interactions, mobile operators are under increasing pressure to deploy AI responsibly and transparently. Meeting these expectations requires more than internal policies - it demands maturity, cultural change , and collaboration across the ecosystem.  

Anchored in the GSMA Responsible AI (RAI) Maturity Roadmap, this session brings together mobile operators at different stages of AI maturity, alongside a key industry partner to share real-world experiences of what it takes to move from intent to implementation. Together, they will explore how RAI practices impact not only on individual organisations, but also partners, vendors , and platforms that operators depend on.  

The session will examine what accelerates progress, where organisations commonly get stuck, and how leadership and culture must evolve to keep up pace with rapidly advancing AI capabilities.  Our panel of leaders will examine what shared accountability for responsible AI looks like in practice – beyond organisational boundaries - offering practical steps for embedding transparency, resilient AI governance frameworks, ethical principles, and trust across both internal operations and wider partner ecosystems.
