Session Description
This session will explore the synergy between non-terrestrial network providers (NTNs) and mobile operators reflecting the growing number of partnerships between terrestrial and non-terrestrial connectivity being announced globally. While such partnerships can support the coverage gap and be a driver for digital inclusion, regulatory issues surrounding regulatory parity, spectrum acquisition, licensing conditions, and quality of service need to be discussed to understand how a harmonized future regulatory frameworks can benefit all. The conversation aims to provide insights that will guide global policy, ensuring a balanced approach to connectivity governance that serves the broader goal of digital inclusion.
