Session Description
Connectivity provided by low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite constellations is augmenting terrestrial mobile connectivity, offering a range of value-adding services for consumers and business opportunities for mobile operators. This significant development raises new questions for regulators concerning licensing, competition, and consumer safeguards. For this year’s annual Ask the Regulator session, we will hear how regulatory authorities in different countries have responded to the rapid expansion of space-based connectivity.
