Montserrat Guardia Güell, IDEADED Chief People Officer (CPO), Senior Telecommunications Engineer from UPC (Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya) she has completed two Master's Degrees in Business Management, community builder, mentor, specialist in strategy and ecosystems, in the management of large-scale innovative programs, especially those in which the latest generation of information and telecommunication technologies (Internet of Things, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence) are structural, in their use, providing an effective humanist vision.
Executive with more than 25 years of experience in management of information technology systems, operations, and strategy areas, driving operational transformations and launching new businesses in multinationals of the Consulting and Information Systems, Oil & Gas Services, Banking & Insurance sectors. She has led multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with high experience in cutting-edge technologies and entrepreneurial skills, living and adopting the cultural richness of different countries in Europe, South America, North America, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, India, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates. She has dedicated the last 12 years to building bridges between Start-Ups and Multinationals, co-founder of the ELLIS Alicante Foundation and of the company Big Onion (both specialized in AI), founding-patron of the Visualization for Transparency Foundation, participates equally as a President of the Board of Trustees of the UPC, member of the Advisory Board of the Artificial Intelligence Ethics Observatory of Catalonia (OEIAC), and of the Academic Committee of the legal-legal think-tank FIDE, former member of the "Europe Movement Health Growth Committee”.
She has been responsible for Information Technology services for 4 Olympic Games, Pan American Games, and several World Championships and UN Summits.
After her position as Vice President, and being a member of the founding team in 2017, she has been the General Manager of the Alastria Blockchain Consortium until October 2021, positioning the organization as an international benchmark for its pioneering nature in the digital economy by promoting an agnostic technological vision of the Blockchain technologies, the Digital Identity design and development and its relation with the digital wallets and prioritizing the establishment and adoption of the European regulatory-legal-legal framework. In 2022-2023 as Chief of Strategy and Director of the Society Area of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation, she has formulated the Society Area directing public-private agreement programs related to Digital Future Society, prioritizing the visibility of reflection around the ethical-social framework promoting global communication through new data visualization mechanisms, the use of the latest generation of AI considering current Digital European legislative framework.
She is currently a regular contributor to social innovation programs, lecturer (in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese), visiting professor at various universities and international business schools. In her position at IDEADED, her pedagogical-advisory nature becomes relevant, promoting the IDEADED mindset & talent acting towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals formulated by the United Nations for 2030.
