Speaker Bio
Rishi is the Senior Data and Insights Manager for the Mobile Money programme. He is responsible for leading the programme’s data and insights work, and the annual State of the Industry Report on Mobile Money.
Before this, Rishi worked for Pula Advisors, an insurtech that provides insurance to smallholder farmers, and the Mobile Money and AgriTech programmes at the GSMA. He has worked as an independent consultant too, in particular for the World Bank and Caribou Digital. His previous experience includes roles at McKinsey, Willis Towers Watson and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
He holds a BA from SOAS, University of London, and an MA from the University of Groningen. In 2020, Rishi became a Certified Digital Financial Practitioner. He speaks French and Kiswahili.
